I used to build these things back then. No RAM, only core memories; a matrix of tiny doughnut shaped cores on a board about the size of a sheet of letter sized paper. A couple of years ago found one of these computers in a technical museum with my mark on one the serial tags. Man if that doesn't make you feel old...!
