This really bugs me, I've got a Master's from an Ivy, read everyday (often all day), and apparently it's only at an 11th grader's pace 330-350. Though apparently that is substantially faster than average adults? I wonder what I'm doing wrong.
Thanks for the Damned set-list :-) If Dave and the boys play that on Sunday I'll be very happy! I don't think I've ever seen them play Limit Club live, so that would be very, very cool...
It helped that the text was from War of the Worlds, which I didn't need to read to answer the questions :) Apparently, if I was really reading at that speed, I could finish the Bible in just over 1 hour. Hallelujah!
"30,376 words per minute." I can now read the Bible in 26 minutes lol I was hoping I could break it so that I ended up being able to read the Wizard of Oz in -1 minute :)
782? Crikey! I managed 530 words per minute, although I wasn't really pushing it ;-)
ReplyDeleteI've copied this on to my blog, too. Cheers!
Now I was really pushing it :)
DeleteBTW I've just noticed those pics of The Damned on your sidebar. Cool! I'm hoping to see them next weekend - always good for a laugh...
