Yes indeed a very stupid question.....The dumbest shit I ever have had the misfortune to hear happened at Natural Bridges National Monument in Southeastern Utah......and it went something like this...... "This park would be much prettier if they had just built the bridges closer to the road".... I somehow lost my ability to censor my comments for the "common folk' and asked .......... "What the fuck did you just say ?"..... and then.....oh hell that's another story... but for your viewing pleasure..... May I present Natural Bridges National Monument.....
I'm Australian. On a recent trip to New York, my sister and I were waiting in the queue to see the 9/11 Memorial. The very American family in front of us asked each other loudly, when did 9/11 happen? Thinking they were trying to remember the year... we realised we were wrong when they speculated it was in November? ...no, on the 1st of September, and was it 2011? That must be it. 1 September 2011... hence 9/11.
Now, I understand you might be hazy on the year it happened... but really... even so... you think it might've been just two years ago?? Not last year, but the year before, two planes, loss of life, terrible sadness?
