Now I know it's know as a 'coffin bottle' :)
If it was an Hisatsinom artifact I could help you but.......That is a really cool fined.
I've contacted the distillery, hopefully they can help :)
I'm guessing 1950s - 1960s green glass. Maybe worth $2 for a collector. Fill it with some Jack Daniels Green Label and offer it to guests for a buck a shot.http://forum.irishwhiskeysociety.com/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=2031
I'm sure it's not worth much, just curious on the date. My dad reckons he knows who owned it :)
At first glance it looks older than 1950s. Does it have a seam on the side and does the seam stop before the lip of the bottle?
That's exactly how it looks
I would tentatively date it at pre 1920s. Can't be too accurate without other pics but it looks fairly early. Nice bottle and a good chance it's around 100 years old.
Thanks for letting me know, that's around the age my dad had guessed at :)
