Part-time blogging

You may have noticed a decline in the frequency of blog posts, due to the ratio of work and no play. This blog is turning into a big, sweaty, itchy monkey on my back, and although I like monkeys, this one needs a few swift punches to the neb.

I'm not giving up completely, there are plenty of old posts to look at if you're desperate :-)

  1. Ohh Hun...fully understand.

But do remember all work and no play makes Gill a tired, knackered girl...

    Takecare of yourself. x x

  4. Whoa, it sounds like you want to be floating around in a lake someplace instead of entertaining us. You might be waterblogged. Hope you didn't catch it from me.

But if you did, have a nice summer.

  7. Ah Joanne, I've had a monkey on me back for year, sure I'd be lost without him even though it takes a hell-of-a-lot to feed him.
You get attached to bloggers like I've of you, and Kim- not because you're the opposite/well maybe, I don't know, but I like the energy. Please do keep it going, and if I may say: you do post quite a lot, slowing down I would call normal- so take it easy, but take it.

  8. We should all have a joint blog where we can post whenever we could be bothered!

  9. Sorry to hear that but you have to do what you need to do, so to speak.
A blog should always be considered a hobby unless it pays better than your job and when time is short it's usually the blog that suffers first.

Running a blog slowly takes over your life and can easily become a full time job if you let it.

Regarding a group blog. I've been in a couple of blogs like that and they both fell by the wayside due to real-life commitments causing a lack of posts.

If I ever opened my main blog up to others to post, which I nearly done a while back and may do in the future, I would be delighted if you would accept an invitation to join me.
