I fell off the tracks of a large machine three years ago and sprained my ankle. All I could think of when I heard it pop like a breaking broom stick was: "This is going to hurt." After a few seconds of numbness, it did.
Judging from the distance, and angle, I'm thinking he has more than a sprain.
There's a television show that shows clips, with humorous commentary, of accidents and failed stunts. I find myself cringing more than laughing. On some, I'm amazed the individual is still alive.
I don't remember a face plant, but then again, my vision became blurry when he straddled the rail.
I had a bicycle accident when I was an adolescent that ended in a similar impact in the same place. I don't remember much except the five minutes of hoping I would eventually start breathing again. Afterwards, I had to use a wrench to return the handlebars to the original position.

Jess, we've survived many a tangle as a child (that would likely kill us now).
ReplyDeleteI once saw a woman throw her husband out of a 3rd floor window and he was impaled on the spike fence below...brutal
ReplyDeleteSporky, we need to get you out of that neighbourhood right away!

ReplyDeleteL, I'll have to take you up on that, only offer of marriage I've ever had. I better break the news to the other half.
ReplyDeleteThat was quite an elegant for a fall, kind of like some sort of an abstract dance.
ReplyDeleteTMITS, it was a light hearted spring-like fall.
ReplyDeleteThis is a substantial number of comments for a 7 second clip.
