I fear that's what I'll look like when I'm old and feeble.
The shell will come in very handy though, H :)
I think Kevin is a tortoise not a turtle
Keith, yes of course - but I couldn't spell it ;)
My friend kept a few tortoises in his backyard. They'd wander up and down the fence, which kept it neatly trimmed. Even better, the neighbors never complained about the noise.
Jess, ideal pets! I wouldn't mind a turtle/tortoise - whatever they're called :)
Speaking of tortoise.......damn near broke my ankle during a "midnight run" because of this....http://i532.photobucket.com/albums/ee321/Mutil8or/82427e75.jpghttp://i532.photobucket.com/albums/ee321/Mutil8or/8adc2bdd.jpg
What is that?
A tortoise guard(like a cattle guard) and tortoise fence to "protect" them by keeping them from populated areas....does more harm than good IMHO.
Don't they fall in the gaps?
Yes , and then the coyotes just wait for them to come out the end.....dinner time ....so much for protecting the endangered species.
Would it not be wiser to let them do their thing and womble about wherever they wished. awww.
