    That was Dr. Robert Liston. The surgery wasn't quite that fast (although Liston was famous for fast surgery). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Liston#Liston.27s_most_famous_cases

      I will never mock the NHS again, Miss C! In a few hundred years time people will look back and gasp at the atrocious conditions we lived in :)
