I've paid my tax

I had a link to an Ebay shop selling these but they've removed it, luckily after I'd bought mine :-)I got this message from Ebay..."We'd like to let you know that eBay has ended an item you were bidding on for breaching of one or more of our policies. As it's important that eBay maintains member privacy, we can't tell you exactly why the listing was removed". I know why - the truth hurts.

  1. Could you explain what we're looking at (the tax stamp, that is) for those of us across the pond?

  2. Momo, they'll probably find a way of clamping me for badness!

Fyodor, please tell me you have to pay to use the roads too? This tax is just another way for the government to give money to that old cunt they call the Queen. If they were in any fit state to drive on, most people wouldn't even complain, but where I live it's hard to tell the difference between the road and the ditch (ummm, side of road?) If that wasn't bad enough,we have to pay around £1 for a litre (liter) of petrol.

Can Obama help us in any way? (either one)

  3. Yes, but our "tax stamp" is the renewal sticker on our license plates -- I wasn't too sure what the picture was. I'm not sure if Mr. Obama can help you at all as we're in a bit of a financial and political mess over here. Would Britain take the U.S. back on a warranty exchange after 232 years?

  4. Looks like both our countries are doomed.

Have you ever been to Iceland?
