Went to see The Pogues last night, was great, even got to witness Shane McGowans legendary laugh (Sheeshesheshssshesh) but still can't figure out who duetted with Shane on Fairytale of New York...
I like to pretend I don't know older British groups (my ignorance of The Clash induced heart attacks some years ago). I would recognize the Pogues' music, but I really couldn't name a single thing they've done.
No idea what a Pogue might be, but it sounds like there were several, so you probably got your money's worth. Excellent work.
