Something I Made Earlier

  4. I zoomed and examined the brush strokes, spent a few moments trying to determine if it's oil, or acrylic, unzoomed and looked at it again. After a critical examination, and some logical thought, I came to the conclusion that it would take me the better part of the rest of my life to paint something comparable.

    I like it. It made me look, touched some raw primal nerve and made my mind do something more than just idly wait for instructions. I think that's the goal of painting.

  8. Yep, and your painting should be one of the first exhibits for consideration.(Don't save it in a heavy frame. The cost to put things in orbit is determined by weight)

  14. G, I never thought of him but it's hilarious now when I look at it. The inspiration was a photo of a cat....wearing big glasses :-)
