  4. other hand : what we did do (many many many years, era ago) was making frozen soap bubbles : 't was a very freezing winter & my dad showed me how to make them - nice!
(somewhere around 1650's or so - ok?)

  5. Hey, how come I never got to make frozen snow bubbles. Is it too late to try?

  6. well... with the climate changes... one never knows whether the weather will ever allow us that kind of fun again.
i do remember it as being a very very hard & cold winter, & 't was late at night when dad thought me the trick - but it is fanatastic. The bubbles shatter like glass.
(whilst the divers in "frozen world" were freezing their nuts of, i'm certain mr Attenborough was having fun on antartica, playing with frozen bubbles - 100% for sure)
    :-D
