    I've read the Twilight books; watched season 1-2 of True Blood back to back. Twilight is -much- more for the tweens, altho the star crossed lovers theme works for adults too (like Romeo and Juliet.)
    I've also read some of the new vampire non-fiction / soft-core porn a la Laurell K Hamilton. True Blood is not bad...
